Never interfere with an enemy trying to destroy themselves. It is pretty hilarious to see the drama that is unfolding in Atlanta because of the Penix pick. Could you imagine the Bucs drafting Jordan Love @ 13 overall in 2020 instead of Tristan Wirfs, after just signing Tom Brady in Free Agency?
If you want some chuckles, read the Barstool Sports article about the pick and see the comments. One Falcons fan said he hates the Falcons more than any other team 🤣
Hope it continues throughout today.
Just read an updated day 2 mock over at NFL.com they project us to pass up taking Kneeland ( went 4 picks later to the Lions) for Kamari Lassiter, then in Rd.3 have us taking TJ Tampa @ 89 and Malik Washington @ 92 with Puni going 4 picks later to the Jags. I would prefer for Kneeland to be selected @ 57 if the rest of their projections are correct, and Puni with one of the 3rd rd pick, but Id like to hear others opinions on this. Let's hear em Pewter Nation.
So Coleman as a 2nd or 3a pick makes a lot more sense to me. Never made sense when he was mocked by PR to go in round 1. Coelman with the 3a pick would be a steal in my view.
I don't see Coleman making it to us at 57
I kinda like their suggestions. Have been pro-Kneeland a long time, but I’m also hearing some of what we think is based on some hype. So I’m not as concerned if there is a more highly rated option. I just don’t want to reach for a player that we think is something he isn’t, or isn’t yet.Just read an updated day 2 mock over at NFL.com they project us to pass up taking Kneeland ( went 4 picks later to the Lions) for Kamari Lassiter, then in Rd.3 have us taking TJ Tampa @ 89 and Malik Washington @ 92 with Puni going 4 picks later to the Jags. My thinking boils down to #TrustLicht
@bucshot420 - I’m a fan of this, but I would trade out Lassiter for Fiske. I’ve always felt that Malik Washington will be a steal in the third round.
I doubt we move up, but I’d be curious what the cost would be. DeJean would be a stud in Bowles’ D.

There could be another WR run to start the 2nd round because the Bills need a WR as well as the Patriots and Chargers. Patriots might forgo a WR in round 2 if they need to shore up OT this year.
But if there is a WR run to start the 2nd round that all but guarantees the Bucs can take a top tier defender that slides down with their second round pick.
Can’t say I’m a fan of DeJean, but it depends on where a team picks him.
Dont think Johnny Newton or JPJ fall to us in the 2nd - but CB could be nice!
Lots of guys left we’re gonna get soemone we like in the second lots of talent left 3rd rnd we will probably be filling with safety/cb help
need lots of db help
Dejean shouldn’t be here in the second he’s a a rich man Jamel dean “stiff” corner with ball skills and probably higher football iq
@ehinote They had JPJ, Dejean, Fiske,Newton going @ picks 35,36,37 and 38 so based off what was still on the board that wasn't an option, and too far of a jump up for the trade.
At #57 Payton Wilson or Braden Fiske
#89 Malachi Corley or Mohammed Kamara
# 91 Mason Smith or Tevin Wallace
My sleeper pick @ # 125 Isaac Guerendo RB
Of our 3 picks in round 2 &3 would think edge and CB will be addressed
be nice if marshawn kneeland or TJ Tampa fall to us in second
like Jeremiah trotter JR if he’s there in the third
I gave all the draft guru's a score of D- for their draft predictions.
