Duane Akina. Not sure how Lovie would feel about bringing in an assistant coach who has not been an NFL HC... ;) ....but this guy is definitely worth an interview IMO, to see if he might be ready to make the jump from collegiate assistant to NFL assistant. Word is that Charlie Strong will not be retaining Akina at Texas. The number of NFL ready DBs to come out of UT during his tenure with the Longhorns is certainly impressive...Seven 1st rounders including Kenny Vaccaro, Aaron Williams, Earl Thomas, Michael Griffin, Aaron Ross, Michael Huff, and Quentin Jammer.11 DBs drafted since 2002.
Leslie Fraizer?
Raheem?
This Akina guy sounds interesting tho.
Good thought! Raheem is a very good DB coach, but in Tampa me thinks he'd be a PR nightmare...
I would not mind bringing back Raheem as a DB coach because like him or not he can deff coach the secondary. The DB unit got lots of INT with him here. But beyond him my favorite guys in terms of success and nature of the person would Mark Carrier from Cincinnati. Kris Richard from Seattle, Steve Wilks from Carolina and Jon Hoke former Lovie Smith assistant in Chicago.
Raheem?
Those DBs he had in Washington didn't look very youngry to me.

I was joking.. I wouldn't want Raheem here.

Nah I know haha. He's actually a pretty decent DB coach, their personnel just sucked there. When EJ Biggers is getting a lot of burn, you know there is an issue.

We have a different level of coaching staff now. I wouldn't want Raheem back here because he's way to buddy buddy with the players.
