I've said this before and im going to stick with it, DB should be the number 1 focus. This draft's defensive end prospects are over hyped. No one besides Bosa or Buckner are worth a top 10 pick. I see tons of value for Defensive ends in rounds 2-4 but not with a top 10 pick. After watching tons of film, I see tons of more value at DB and frankly, I think its a bigger need. Right now Brent Grimes will be starting. A 33 year old Corner who dropped off last year. I think he was brought in to play, but also as a short term solution to help teach the younger corners. I do think its close and I do think we need DE, but I see more potential in players like VH3, William Jackson III and Eli Apple than Shaq Lawson( A Clemson DE I might add), Leonard Floyd a OLB who doesn't fit our scheme and Noah Spence who tends to take plays off and has maturity issues. The Talent of the DE postion drops from Buckner and Bosa to the rest. I see more value of taking a guy like Ogbah, Jonathan Bullard or Shilique Calhoun in the second round because there talent level is close to Shaq Lawson and other guys. There is no need to just draft A defensive end @9 because its our biggest need, but we should be drafting for BPA @9 and guys like VH3 and William Jackson III are better than Shaq lawson and others.
