DE Trent Murphy

If I am the Bucs and looking for a pass rusher, Murphy is the biggest priority! Before being injured in the 2017 pre-season, Murphy looked like he was hitting his stride as a competent edge rusher, after a breakout 2016 season where he registered 8 sacks. Murphy represents a low financial risk with a high production reward potential, if he's medically cleared from torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. After serving his four game suspension last season for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancement drugs in conjunction with being on IR. Murphy could provide the Bucs some much needed edge presence in 2018.
