Wilson played about as well as you realistically can in a football game. 72% completion percentage. 8.2 yards per attempt. Three 8.7 yard rushes. No turnovers.

That's not true tho. That team is loaded with players and good coaching. Wilson has a lot of pedestrian games like Glennon. They would make the playoffs still.
Can't make the playoffs if the guy under center is making poor decisions and turning the ball over. Wilson makes plays when they need to be made. There is no denying that.
No denying that but most of the time it's not Wilson making that big play. They lean on Lynch and that defense more IMO.I think Wilson is a good player but that stacked Seattle team makes him look great.

One play Wilson made tonight early in the game was scrambling to his left and completing a third down pass to Tate when the score was 5-0. Had he not made the play, it's a 3 and out and the Broncos get the ball right back. With a rhythm offense like the Broncos that can change the game. Instead they end up hanging on to the ball and kicking a FG. Because of his baseball ability he makes throws much like a SS does and this was a perfect example. Not sure any other QB makes the play....maybe Kap.

Russell Wilson was a major contributor to them winning the SB. He fit perfectly for the style of play they wanted to run down the stretch. Not every QB has to put up 350yd games with 4 tds to be considered a key part of a title run. I think there are probably just a handful of QBs who fit in with Seattle's group and would have still won this SB. Russell Wilson was hardly just along for the ride. Very cerebral. Very efficient. Very clutch. Leader of that offense. Dude deserves as much credit for their championship as that defense.

There's probably at least 10 other QB's who could have won the Superbowl with that Seahawks team. Wilson wasn't only there for the ride, but let's not act like he was a huge reason they won the SB.
