they always say that it doesn't anymore but today it just did. they didn't do all that much on offense but the defense was the big differencemaker for Seattle
Russell holding up the trophy. He should of handed it to the defense, great game for them.
Yea Russell was shaky at best today.
Russell made the plays he needed to make and didn't kill his team with turnovers.

IIRC He did have a couple of int grounding penalties ?

The real championship wasn't played today.Denver's offense is going to win the one that counts.
Defense, running game, home field advantage

And a botched handoff to Lynch after the play Bowman should have had a turnover. I dont care about either team, but sure seemed like the refs wanted Seattle to win this one.
As an aside, I wish that botched fumble call had been the difference in the game. The reffing this year has been awful and that would have been the cherry on the fecal sundae of this season.

Ya, I think he had a couple of those botched hand offs. He is pretty young, I think this is his 2nd year? He could of been feeling the pressure of a big game on his shoulders.
IIRC, Russell fumbled (a la Mike Glennon's infamous fumble trying to pass) trying to escape a pass rush on the 1st play from scrimmage. Very similar plays, except Russell never got his arm in motion... In recent history, offense has actually won a lot of Super Bowls. Defense usually GETS a teamto the Super Bowl tho'. Can't hurt to have BOTH... ;D

It has been bad. Why not make every play reviewable. If there is a questionable call, review it. How long does that take. 1 minute, maybe 2 minutes?Wait until the players see that really bad call, they will flip. And I can't say I blame them.

As bad as that one was, the "running into the kicker" worse. They hit his plant leg and by rule that CAN'T be running into, it HAS to be roughing. Even I knew that the second it happened. They just decided to make up the rules today.
The only case I can think of where a play shouldn't be reviewable is if the whistle was blown.

Ya I forgot about that one. I thought Harbough was going to go into cardiac arrest right there.
