Saying the loss was 100% on the defense?
There must be long of posters saying the loss is 100% on the defense and Mayfield's fumble was not a factor. Can you quote a couple of those posters for me, please? I must have missed that. TIA
The "not forcing a punt" argument is meaningless
You don't get points for not punting.
lolz
You've always had a pretty big pair clown shoes, but they are getting Guinness World Record-big at this point.
I literally just did. One guy said 100% on the defense. The quote reply was "yup"
Was that the same post that referenced the turnovers as a factor?
Saying the loss is 100% on the defense is just as foolish as saying it's 100% on "Saint Liam" and the offense. Not forcing a punt in an entire football game is an indictment on the defense, whether you'd like to acknowledge it or not.

I never said it was 100% on Coma. I'll say 65/35 offense though. If Saint Liam runs Irving and Tucker on that drive after the goal line stand and we can punch it in we're up 24-13 in the middle of the 4th and nobody cares about how many punts Washingotn had.
And yes I put on a masterclass the last 2 months. It was 20 vs 1 and I was the one that was right in the end.
I'm a big fan of this level of delusion. Two thumbs up, no notes.
AP NEWS-
“On February 2nd, away from the NFL Pro Bowl, Sean Tucker will be inducted into the JC Hall of Fame. A unanimous first ballot inductee, he will join the ranks of other elite football specimens such as Josh Freeman, Luke McCown, Adam Humphries, Scotty Miller, Arrelious Benn, Maurice Stovall, and many others. Induction ceremonies will be rebroadcast on ESPN 8 at 3:30am”
6.2 ypc back on the sideline while we're fumbling jet sweeps and a designed QB run goes for 0 on 2nd and 1.
Jesus, can you not read?
I clearly stated he was a 1st ballot inductee.
I think he certainly has his flaws and I think they're big enough to where he probably shouldn't be a hc. He's consistently made the same mistakes. So i think he's overrated as a adjustment guy. I'm on the let's get it right the first time so we don't put our team in a bad spot. Which we found ourselves in quite a lot with him at hc. He's got some skills at that but like I said I'd rather not get there in the first place. It's not a recipe for success in crunch time like the playoffs and in prime time games where guys are playing like it's a playoff game under the lights not surprising we suck there too. We're not prepared when we need to be and that's on the hc. I like him don't get me wrong. I think this team deserves better with the talent it has. I think they had a shot this year even with the injuries but I felt he was the liability. Next year could be the same if he's there again. There's an opportunity here with this team. Glazers maybe can get another one as it feels like this roster is close like the ones that won it last time were. And this team is young too. I'd like to see someone come in and close the deal. Kinda like how we did with gruden and Brady. I don't know who that is right now but I feel like it's a head coach. They should be looking. Like I said it's an opportunity here.
Saying we loss because of the fumble is hilarious.
It sure didn't help but having 1 turnover in a game only hurts because WE FORCED ZERO AND LOST THE TURNOVER MARGIN.
Nobody said Coen called a perfect game. He scored 4 out of 7 drives. Only having 7 drives is fucking nuts and it's because Washington moved the ball methodically with ease all game. Bucs would have been better off giving up something over the top but nope Bowles would rather die by a million cuts than nut up.
Bowles defense would have been fine if everything was the same in terms of yards and points if the offense wasn't standing on the sidelines for 40 minutes all game.
Bowles called the FG at the end and Bowles defnese couldn't YET AGAIN get a clutch stop.
Tucker isn't saving this game.

did you just ignore my post that we had 8 drives against the Saints and scored 27 and had 8 drives in our first meeting with Washington and scored 37.
so your suggesting 1 less drive could have been the difference?
i guess it depends on when this drive occurred. Looks like we barely moved the ball on our first 3 drives, mustering up 70 yards and 3 points. We then did hurry up and scored at the end of the half.
We had a good drive to start the 2nd half going up 17-13 and defense turns over Washington on downs.
we then go full retard with a fumble and then sequence in the redzone of a designed baker run and botched early snap. So if the defense could have had one final stop, maybe we get the ball back and do some damage...but given that 4th quarter of offense, damn well likely ending with a Rachaad White fumble or Baker INT with this "magical 8th drive"
Again, the offense has carried us all year, and the defense is butt cheaks. This we know. We didnt control TOP but held them to 23 points. The offense, with 1 less drive, had tied for their 2nd lowest point total all year. They scored 7 against the Broncos and then 20 against the Lions and 49ers.
So yeah, we lost because of a fumble. or if you dont want to blame that....the Barton early snap would be 2nd on the list. Shitty defense is third
Defense had us in a position to win the game, up in the 4th quarter. Offensive turning ball over in our own red zone after we just stopped them at the fucking goal line is asking for alot isn't it?
come on guys, we wont win with mediocre bowles and know theres agenda to have him gone, i mean your name changed from FireLicht to FireBowles, but the only consolation of the team shitting the bed sunday night is that poor execution and offense turning into a pumpkin at midnight, assured us that Coen will be back as OC in 2025.
Saying we loss because of the fumble is hilarious.
You would agree that was a pivotal play?
About as pivotal as 10 other critical plays.
4th down conversions
3rd down run at the end to run the clock out
Phantom holding call on McCollum
2nd and 1 failed zone option read followed by Barton with yet another botched snap.
Bowles failure to go for any 4th downs.
McMillan drop in the first drive.
Their shit kicker hitting a 52 yarder.

i don’t think most see those as the same

Why? 4th down conversion are stealing a possession. That's what a turnover is...
Obviously that play was near the top of most important but Bowles chose to tie the game, then trot his shit Defense out there to let them run the clock out and kick a FG with no time left.
That drive was literally the game. Multiple opportunities to get a stop or make a play.
The turnover just seems bigger because it was the only one of the game.
Again, the Bucs win probability before the fumble was 77%. After the fumble was 9%.
The turnover just seems bigger because it was the only one of the game.
Huh? Its BIGGER (it doesn't just "seem" bigger) because of the CIRCUMSTANCES.
We scored to take the lead at the end of the 3rd quarter. They drive down and we have a 4th down GOAL LINE STAND. They went for it and FAILED. They went for it and we stopped them. All the MOMENTUM on our side. . . . with the lead in the 4th quarter.
Whatever has happened up to then is meaningless because we have the lead, we have the ball, it is the 4th quarter. Our great offense had finally come alive the drive before . . and before we can really even get started we FUMBLE in front of our end zone on a ROUTINE play.
This is how BELICHICK described a play like that:
“Those are the kind of plays you look back on when your season ends that you say, ‘We really messed those up,’ Belichick said. “… Those kind of plays you feel like you beat yourself. They are hard to overcome when your season ends that way.”
After the game you can get similar quotes from Mayfield:
"“First one all year that happened on so obviously the timing is not great. Getting backed up defensively, just done a hell of a job getting us the ball. Another fourth down stop. Yeah, unfortunately put the holes on me.”
THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT IT BECAUSE IT WAS THE PIVOTAL PLAY.
AND AS FOR THE WAY THE GAME PLAYED OUT FROM THERE, you wipe the significance of the fumble away with this:
Bowles chose to tie the game . .That drive was literally the game. Multiple opportunities to get a stop or make a play.
Here is another way to think of it (#3 being the key point):
1. It didnt work out and the defense's inability to get a stop ALL GAME is definitely the biggest factor in the game BUT
2. the "multiple opportunities to get a stop or make a play" . . . . . (like they did right before the fumble and in the first half) is why you kick the field goal instead of going for it because the game ends THERE . . . . right? If you kick the FG you have those "multiple plays" . . .BUT . .
3. even if you disagree on the FG . . you're only making that "choice" because. .. the OFFENSE F'D UP . . . AGAIN . . . and TWICE. Again, Coach Belichick:
“A couple of these teams have to feel terrible,” Belichick replied. “Tampa, they fumble a handoff on a jet sweep-action play. That really didn’t have anything to do with the defense. Then they [butcher] another short-yardage play and screw up the handoff and get stopped and get held to a field goal.
“That didn’t have anything to do with Washington’s defense. It was just bad football.”
SO, in a universe where the objects of the posts is not Bowles, its not that hard to imagine another person describing Washington's last drive for a FG as the Bucs defense being unable to save the offense (from its multiple F'ups) . . . . right?
For you . . "FireBowles". . . . the focus is the UNKNOWABLE opinion that the Bucs should go for it, not the hard, indisputable fact that the offense WITH THE LEAD f'd up MULTIPLE TIMES
Bowles didn't STEAL the win from the offense by going for a FG (OPINION), he reacted to its multiple failureS (FACTS) in crunch time.
(The Bucs defense TWICE stopped the Washington defense on fourth downs, right? 4th and 3 and a 4th and 2.)
Again, the Bucs win probability before the fumble was 77%. After the fumble was 9%.
Even this isn't true. According to ESPN Analytics, here are the percentages before and after fumble:
3rd & 7 at TB 7 (12:39 - 4th) (Shotgun) B.Mayfield pass short right to M.Evans to TB 15 for 8 yards (M.Sainristil) - 71.6% Bucs win
1st & 10 at TB 15 (11:58 - 4th) B.Mayfield FUMBLES (Aborted) at TB 12, touched at TB 13, RECOVERED by WAS-B.Wagner at TB 13. B.Wagner to TB 13 for no gain (B.Mayfield). - 51.1% Bucs Win
When you have to exaggerate every point you make, you probably aren't making good points. And it completely ignores where the win percentage was later in the game, before the gutless wonder decided to go against the numbers and kick a FG:
1st & 10 at WSH 21 (6:51 - 4th) (Shotgun) B.Irving left end to WAS 12 for 9 yards (M.Lattimore; M.Walker) - 64.5% Bucs win
B.Mayfield FUMBLES (Aborted) at TB 12, touched at TB 13, RECOVERED by WAS-B.Wagner at TB 13. B.Wagner to TB 13 for no gain (B.Mayfield). - 51.1% Bucs Win
can you post the ESPN analytics from this play until the FG
