Defensive calls known before even lining up

So on my way to work in the DC area I was listening to one of the local sports shows. They were talking about the game yesterday and what changes Washington made in the second half. An interesting tidbit emerged. The offensive coordinators knew what sort of defense the Bucs were going to call based on what they ran the previous play. Apparently, they never called the same defense twice in a row but were rotating coverages and such bases on what they ran the previous play. Which means that Washington knew they would have man-to-man coverage on the winning touchdown before they even called the play. They knew it while the play before it was running, so they were able to dial up a play with the best chance to beat man coverage (not to mention saving precious time). Hell, both Cousins and Reed said they knew they won the game before they even snapped the ball on the final play. Cousins in a weekly interview he does with the station said something to the effect of, "I was shocked they did what we expected them to do. You would think they would do something to confuse me, to make me think about where I needed to go with the ball but they didn't." We don't have good enough players across the board on defense for this to not be an issue. Terrible coaching and terrible game management.
