Looks like Vita Vea is picking up where he left off in terms of impact. He was the highest graded player at 81.8. Very disruptive and strong at the point of attack. He was definitely allowing Lavonte David to stay clean (Lavonte with a 77.4 grade).

William Gholston looked way more fit to play this 3-4 role than he did at any point I can remember in years past. 71.5 grade. I mean for comparison sake last year he graded out for the season at dismal 34.7... seems like Todd Bowles definitely knows how to get players in position to be impactful.

Suh is Suh. He is a force. 70.1 Grade.

The defense as a whole was good on Sunday. Definitely still some things that need to be cleaned up... but I will say I was impressed with our starting defensive line. It's just 1 game, but this is definitely a unit I'm optimistic about.
