Demar Dotson switches agents as he wants a new contractBy Sander Philipse Jul 16, 2015, 7:09p Dotson_Zpsa1Vl1Ewv.jpgAndrew Weber-USA TODAY Sports    Demar Dotson decided against holding out for mandatory OTAs this offseason, but the right tackle still wants a new contract. And rightly so: he's massively underpaid, and has been ever since he signed his new contract in 2013. A contract he's so unhappy with he fired his former agent, according to Jenna Laine of Sports Talk Florida.Dotson1_Zpsj16W51Vb.pngDotson signed a four-year, $7.5 million contract in 2013, which still sounds ludicrous every time I say it -- that's essentially what top-shelf backups get paid, and Dotson's a very good starter. He's been angling for a new contract after two more quality seasons as a starter, but he wasn't willing to risk the fines he'd have incurred for holding out of mandatory activities. His new representation may play hardball, but it may also simply be more qualified to negotiate a quality contract extension. After all, judging by his previous contract, his former agent was kind of terrible at it.link
