Even though he had 3 straight winning seasons in Arizona, he never won his division. Harbaugh's 49ers and Carroll's Seahawks were more successful during that time period.

Arians did some good things with an elderly Carson Palmer and a below average line, but it was mainly the ARI defense, led by Todd Bowles that helped them post 3 winning seasons.

I like Arians, but I also liked Raheem and Dirk.

Just my own opinion, but having slept on it, I'm having doubts on BA.

Throw in the medical stuff, which isn't a deal breaker on it's own, but altogether I'm just not sure he is the guy.

By the way, how many playoff wins did he muster in those two postseason appearances? I'm pretty sure that would be zero. Maybe one wildcard win? I'd have to go back and check.

If we hire Arians, I think there is a good chance we post a winning season and break our play off drought, BUT I'm not sure we ever win big in the playoffs. The goal cannot be 'make the postseason'. It must be 'win a championship' something Arians wasn't able to do in the past.
