You know who’s disrespecting him the media, and he’s the guy that no one asked. Look he’s injured and I rather have a guy 100% than a guy who’s 80% but his play is hurting the team. If he’s injured enough he cant run back a pick 6 let him stay on the bench next man up. The less we talk about the better, an injured devin white is worse than a healthy kj Britt but a healthy devin white we might get another crazy playoff push
and he’s the guy that no one asked
I think thats how he is portraying it after the fact. He was in the locker room and took a question form JBF and they reported his side at the time
"White said there is no conspiracy. He just couldn’t play at the level he believes he needs to be.
“It’s just not healed enough yet,” White said of his foot. “I just have to get it more stronger so I am able to do what I do.”
That’s all White said about his inactive status. When Joe asked him if there was some other reason he didn’t play today, he shook his head and repeated he wasn’t healed enough to give it a go."
I think the thing that might do him in is the timing.
Bowles said they talked on Friday or Saturday. You'd think they wouldve said it was a game time decision then because the game was so big and we woudlve have seen White trying but then saying he couldnt go.
Too late, the horse is out of the barn, the unflattering tape is already out there. 😀
the horse is out of the barn,
I see what you did there. Well played.
If Devin starts any games left this season for any other reason than injury to David, Britt, or Dennis, then Bowles should be fired.
Devin is and has been a complete liability on the field since the last half of the 2021 season. His stats and more importantly, his film shows it. I’ve said it since 2021… he is now nothing more than a splash play here and there LB. Someone will sign him and hope they can salvage him due to his potential, but he will drive disciplined coaches crazy.

100%
The "2020 playoff run" was always a myth. He's sucked every year.
First of all he didn't even play vs Washington and Minter made the play of the game. Because the MLB is always in the middle of the field around the ball. Wait for it...
Saints game: Winfield saves the season with a forced fumble that literally bounced up to him between the 4 and 5. He got the INT later but all he did was drop straight back and Brees threw the ball right to him. It's not like he jumped a route or was in a receivers hip pocket in man. Minter would have done the samething both turnovers.
Packers game: He gets burnt in man (was it Aaron Jones?) and Whitehead screams down and sacrifices his body (literally) to snap him in half and White just scoops it up.
Chiefs game: Gift INT when our win probability was 100%. We got killed in the middle of the field of that game and CEH ran for 7.1 ypc. But the pass rush was so good you couldn't notice.

FACTS!
Jason Licht had a very mixed bag of drafts
2014 to 2017 was 4 drafts that were not good
he had 4 first round picks - Mike Evans, Jameis Winston, Vernon Hargreaves, and OJ Howard. So one Hall of Famer and 3 non contributors to our 2020 team
he had 9 picks in rounds 2 and 3- Austin Seferian Jenkins, Charles Sims, Donovan Smith, Ali Marpet, Noah Spence, Roberto Aguayo, Justin Evans, Chris Godwin, and Kendell Beckwith.
So of the 13 quality picks we will call it - Mike Evans, Donovan Smith, Ali Marpet, and Chris Godwin were the only contributors to the 2020 squad.
of picks outside of the first 3 rounds, just Kwon Alexander in the 4th round of 2015 amounted to anything. Could maybe argue Ryan Smith in the 4th round of 2016 who was depth player for us.
Then he must have taken Adderall or something in 2018 to 2020:
We had 3 first round picks - Vita Vea, Devin White, Tristian Wirfs. - All three were contributors on the 2020 superbowl squad, so much that White was on the superbowl NFL films video with Mike Evans and Leonard Fournette. It was a good run for him but yes, looks like we went 2 for 3 here.
We had 9 picks rounds 2 and 3 - Ronald Jones, MJ Stewart, Carlton Davis, Alex Cappa, Sean Murphy Bunting, Jamel Dean, Mike Edwards, Antonio Winfield JR, and Keyshawn Vaughn. Obviously Stewart and Vaughn were duds but everyone else contributed to our super bowl year.
notable picks outside of the first 3 rounds include Jordan Whitehead, Anthony Nelson, and Scotty Miller who also contributed to the teams success. Obviously adding Tom Brady along with his posse of Gronk, AB, and Fournette helped this team win but these 3 drafts really helped outline the depth and contribute to our Superbowl.
Then it's like he went back to full retard in the drafts 2021 and 2022, with what we will leave 2023 as to early to tell:
Drafted Joe Tryon who is now a back-up, Kyle Trask who couldn't beat out Gabbert for #2 and will never be a starter with the Bucs - great guy but terrible pick in our Superbowl repeat attempt year, and Robert Hainsey who doesn't seem to understand that Baker Mayfield is shorter than Brady and has taken him 14 games and counting to figure it out on his snaps.
Drafted Logan Hall who ended Ryan Jensen's career likely wont amount to anything. I will say that Luke Goedeke and Rachaad White look half decent picks.
Other notable late round picks include Jaelon Darden (waste of time), KJ Britt, Cade Otton, Jake Camarda, and Zyon McCollum.
we will see just the longevity of these folks. I mean Justin Evans and Kendall Beckwith looked pretty solid in their rookie years but wouldn't say they were ultimately good picks.
Beckwith would've been a good 3-4 ILB. A shame what happened to him off the field, would've prevented White selection down the line.
White is back but not as starter or maybe not full time even though Bowles said he’s a “full go”
Booger chimes in
”When did professional football players decide that just because their playing time was cut, they just not gonna play ? Man this is a job that a lot of people would love to have , if u want more playing time put it on tape”

Interview, its being made out more than what it is, he wants to be healthy, and be explosive, something just looked off when minshew juked his ass into the endzone, which is when didnt feel himself at all.
Let the man enjoy the bench in peace
