While I think it would be difficult to do as our D played almost perfectly into a bend don't break moniker, often leaving our offense with 85+ yards to go and I think the D will be better.  Dare to dream is what I say.  I think we were in the 6700 range last season.  If healthy all year long, I could see it happening.

Should be easy

jalen McMillan 1500

sean tucker 1500

mike evans 1000

thats 3000 yards between Bucky, white, Godwin, egbuka and Otton. Should be no problem

Pretty damn close to the talent the super bowl team we had a few years ago. Arguably better in some ways but id argue just maybe lacks the overall experience that group had but they definitely have the chance stat wise to potentially be better. Baker has a chance to absolutely tear it up. Not a bad fantasy option.

Goal should be 3000 yards rushing. There's direct positive correlation between rushing yards and team success.

It is a passing league and every football savant knows . . there's no correlation between running and passing

Bucs were 5-1 when rushing for 150+ yards and passing for less than 300.

Bucs were 1-2 when throwing for 300+ yards and rushing for less than 150 yards.

Run the fucking ball.

Really that could really be awesome if they broke 7,000 yards in offense but will take all hands on deck.

You just throw generic sayings out there and think you're doing something. It's amazing how so many Bucs fans and media can watch the games and literally have no fucking idea why the Bucs win and lose games and who's good and who isn't.

If the Bucs get 7000 offensive yards we're not going to be good because it would take a high amount of pass attempts which means a high amount of Baker turnovers. He turns the ball over, he just does. Bucs were 4-4 with 2 or 3 turnovers and 6-3 with 0 or 1 turnovers. Basic football, I know. But the more we pass the more likely Baker is going to turn it over.

The offensive line and Bucky/Tucker are good enough to the point where we don't have to rely on the scoreboard to dictate if we run or pass. The line can block and those two backs can run. Let them. The sweet spot for this offense is 30 or less pass attempts and 30 or more runs (not with White).

a bit of a stretch  to say close to the talent of super bowl team.  Would i agree that this is the most talented team under Todd Bowles?  Yes.  but that 2020, 2021 squad was a thing of beauty.

and your comment on better stats.  Yeah i could see that potentially but we'd have to click on all cylinders.  The team was pretty good last year so its got potential but being able to win in playoffs...that's a different story.

Tom Brady> Baker Mayfield - I mean....Baker could throw for 100 TDs next year and it be a debate with the GOAT ability to win in the playoffs

Bucky Irving > Lombardi Lenny - No doubt our run game is better

2020/2021 Mike Evans/Chris Godwin > Father Time Mike Evans and another rehabbing injury Chris Godwin

Antonio Brown > Jalen McMillian or Emeka Egbuka - AB when mentally tolerable

Jalen McMillian or Emeka Edbuka > Scotty Miller - Yes we definitely have more depth at WR position

Gronk> Otton

Wirfs/Geodeke> Wirfs/Smith

Ryan Jensen > Graham Barton

Ali Marpet/Alex Cappa>Ben & Cody

so offensively, we have an upgrade with Luke Geodeke, Emeka Egbuka, and Bucky Irving but downgrades everywhere else; even if only slight.

defensively we have alot to prove this year.  We should be the best defense under the Bowles era but we have some work to do to get to 2020, 2021 levels; particularly the one that came alive in 2020 playoff run.

I don't disagree. A solid piece of evidence that backs this up is the large number of JC HOF'ers that have left the team and did jack shit after that.

Ah, remember the great careers Luke McCown, Josh Freeman, Maurice Stovall, Davin Joseph, Jeremy Trueblood, Adam Humphries, Speedy Scotty Miller, Kevin Pamphile, among others after they left Buccaneers?  Bodes well for Sean Tucker.

If you're going to keep bringing up these players shouldn't you also bring up that I had Hall of Fame grades on Watt and Wirfs pre-draft?

You do a good enough job of self-owning on Tristan Wirfs, the HOF Guard. You have one Ace-in-the-Hole, and it's from 2011. Does it matter that nobody ever disagreed with you about Watt being a great player? Probably not.

But sure, you can have those two. With both, you're batting a solid .133 - as there were many more I didn't mention. That's a great reason to keep up the "I'm smarter than everybody else" charade.

With the news of the Licht extension, JC can continue to tell Jason how smart he is while mopping the floors and changing out the trash bags at OBP.
