Should be easy
jalen McMillan 1500
sean tucker 1500
mike evans 1000
thats 3000 yards between Bucky, white, Godwin, egbuka and Otton. Should be no problem
This is tongue-in-cheek, right?
Tampa feels like it's in a sweet spot for success that feels less temporary than previous regimes. Happy Licht and Bowles signed extentions (I know, they don't mean much but are a sign the ship feels steadier than in years past.)
That's a great reason to keep up the "I'm smarter than everybody else" charade.
With the news of the Licht extension, JC can continue to tell Jason how smart he is while mopping the floors and changing out the trash bags at OBP.
Care to comment on Spytek spilling the beans that Licht was going to draft Carlos Henderson instead of Godwin but Denver took him right before?
I think we broke 7,000 (7600?) last season - I think it was the most total yards in Buc history. While I think it would be difficult to do as our D played almost perfectly into a bend don't break moniker, often leaving our offense with 85+ yards to go and I think the D will be better. Dare to dream is what I say. I think we were in the 6700 range last season. If healthy all year long, I could see it happening.
It should be obtainable - a lot depends on our new OC figuring out playcalling, quickly - but we have the horses to get it done and depth to ensure it can happen.
The total yards attained last season is actually stunning.
Man plans, God laughs. That's a great reason to keep up the "I'm smarter than everybody else" charade.

It means the right guys were on the board - and that happy accidents happen when you work hard.

+1
By most accounts the Bucs liked Wirfs, but he's also the 2nd or maybe 3rd tackle off and was very much a NEED pick . . . sure worked out awesome!!

Care to remind us how many Super Bowls you’ve won as a self-claimed NFL GM?

No, we didn't.
We had a little under 6,800 yards.
The record for yardage (and points) was from the GOAT-led team of 2021 (6,901 yards).

Still a helluva season offensively. Both of them.
To think the 2023 team went just as far with a fraction of the talent lol
says something about both teams, I guess.
And lofty goals this year
"Keep working. Best offense in the league. That’s the goal. Offense on three — 1, 2, 3, offense!” Otton barked to his Bucs teammates"
I doubt we break 7k but that’s seems like meaningless stat to aim for. 30ppg is the goal
Eh. If your team is pushing 7,000yds, chances are kind of high that your defense sucks the big one. I'd be happier if the offense puts up around 6,000yds and the defense could be somewhere in the top-15. If we can get that, I would give TB a better than even chance of making it to the NFCCG.

I'd think 6,200 - 6,300 would be the sweet spot, with a 50/50 run to pass ratio, and between 27.5 - 29.0 ppg.
All this assuming a middle of the pack defense.
