5th 201217th 20119th 2010

With Urlacher and Briggs though. Lovie had some serious linebackers in Chicago.

Marinelli was the DC in name only. Lovie called his defense. Would imagine it'll be the same here.

Bottom line is Lovie is proven. Great defense in St. Louis as DC and then Chicago as HC for 13 straight years. Plus, he never loses his cool and is always that calm collected rock to keep the staff and players grounded and focused. After experiencing Schiano, I think our players are really going to appreciate Lovie and respond well to his style. Also, I really like that Lovie's defenses focus on causing turnovers and scoring their own points.

+1.  Last two Buc HC's had no NFL HC experience, Lovie's last NFL HC experience was 10-6, plus division titles, Super Bowl etc.Going to be fun to watch.  I am eager to see how Lovie and a new GM feel about the current roster.
