Donovan Smith & JPP

Since Donovan Smith was drafted by the Bucs he never had to practice against a legit NFL defensive End. We now have JPP in Pewter. Will Smith benefit from going up against him in OTA's and training camp? The old saying is "iron sharpens iron", can we expect a jump in quality play from him? I think it should only help him. Maybe JPP can explain to him how he attacks his weaknesses, and how to improve. As we all know he's also in a contract year. Thoughts?
