In my opinion this is probably as close a draft I could conceive for need, BPA, and value coinciding without trading down. Big, Press Man CB, all around ILB.
Gamechanging DL prospect, good all around Guard prospect
Draft 2. Trade down with Washington to 15 for their 2, 3, and 4 this year.
1) Bradbury - iOL
2) Use 4th to trade up for Nadderly - S
2) Saunders - DL
3) Layne - CB
3) Polite - Edge
4) Cashman - ILB
I feel like this draft is just Flat better despite losing out on the elite prospect in Oliver.
Best iOL in the draft (best OL IMO). Best all-around S prospect. CB and ILB addressed as above. Huge ceiling Edge prospect. Good DL prospect.
The trade down problem comes with the “will Licht eff up these extra picks” question but also the increased margin-of-error to find a good player (but at the cost of eschewing a big prospect).
However, if you could choose these two drafts today, right now, which would you go with.
