Yes, Marvin Harrison and Emeka Egbuka are the only OSU WR’s to have multiple 1,000 yard seasons.WT, was t his career at OSU very similar (statistically) to Marvin Harrison Jr? I thought so.
MHJ put up 8 TDs this year in the NFL. Probably on 800 yds.
I know they are different, but MHJ was also a top 5 pick. We are getting similar college production but at #19?
Egbuka finished with 205 receptions on his career, the most receptions in Ohio State history - and second in receiving yards (only 30 yards behind Michael Jenkins).
Also, 15 of his 24 career touchdowns were in the red zone. Dude is an absolute weapon in short field situations.
He also returns punts and kicks.
But they are two very different players. Marv’s a developing #1, while Emeka is a definite slot guy.

"The richer just got rich."
🤣😜😁
I’m clearly biased, but this kid is ready to start, right now.WOW! Did NOT see this coming!?
I freaking LOVE Egbuka - he’s so smooth - bigger Godwin clone. Team first guy..
but with Green, Ez & Pearce still on the board…somebody is going to have a merry Draftmis.
Yeah, I like Egbuka. But this was a reach. Chris Godwin was a third rounder. I would have loved Egbuka in R3, but this is too early for him.
Ready to start? Where? In place of who? I'm no JC1000, but IMO, Egbuka better have HOF potential to pass on EZ.

If Egbuka can have some of JSN's impact for the Bucs that is a 100% win for this team.
Ready to start? Where? In place of who?
He’ll beat out JMAC for the WR3 spot.

So the Bucs spend a 1st round pick for a part time player. Ok, I guess. As bare as the Bucs' defensive cupboards are, this feels like spending a chunk a money on stocks when your fridge and pantry barely have any food. Possibly good for the future, but what about today?
I'm repeating myself but I think it's a good pick. Picks 15-40 are all the same. There are no reaches
Huh? The reaches are only 1-14 and after 41? That’s a new one.
I'm being hyperbolic but the gap between 15 and 40 isn't very big. Thats my point
This is 100 percent accurate. This is one of the worst drafts from a top tier talent perspective, ever. Jaxson Dart went in the first flipping round. Was Mitch Trubiski (sp) not available???

Bucs were running 11-personnel at a clip of over 70% last season. And, that was with the injuries to Evans and Godwin.
WR3 will see a lot of snaps.
He can line up in the slot as soon as he is needed, especially if Chris isn’t 100%I’m clearly biased, but this kid is ready to start, right now.WOW! Did NOT see this coming!?

As far as the other stuff, from your mouth to God’s ears!
Be thankful you’re not a Bengals fan today.
We have 2 elite WRs. 2 good WRs... And Palmer.
TE group is decent.
Two good backs than can catch the ball.
Baker is loving life

I think our TE room is better than decent. I think Culp in Grizz’s version of this offense is going to come alive. Best offense we have had ever with the exception of maybe 2020. It’s weird…
Cameron Johnson was a rookie but we will see if he sticks along with Palmer. The top four are set so the bottom two roster spots will be competitive unless they choose to keep seven WR's.
But I have to agree that the TE room is starting to become a better unit as Durham and Culp are starting to show they can actually hit their breaks or find soft spots in the field.

Bucs are going to heavily rotate WRs. McMillan will give Evans more breaks. Egbuka will give Godwin breaks.
In the back of my mind I was worried about Grizzard throwing too much. Now I’m starting to think it will happen.

Or, it’s good an insurance policy when your future JC HoF inductee Head Coach gets his own playmakers unnecessarily nuked, due to coaching malpractice.
