Drafting high gives you the chance to draft good players duh but why do teams such as Cleveland and Oakland constantly end up picking so high? They seem to draft players who are considered good players but it doesn't do anything while good teams such as Pittsburgh and New England pick so low every year but end up with great players. I feel like players who are considered great players arent always great value. Teams will draft great WRs so high but overall it doesn't seem to do anything spectacular for the team. A reason why a guy like Watkins should fall to us but we have teams like Oakland and Cleveland in front of us it's likely not to happen. Guys like that just get thrown onto bad teams and never make that big difference to turn the team around. It's like they are solely responsible to tun the team around. While I've always said this that it's a team game. The last bunch of Super Bowl winners had great efforts from all of the team. Great players contributing from all of different positions. It's never one guy. Maybe we should trade down and just try to get the value spread out as much as possible.
