Interesting opinion piece...Winning is losing and vice versa. That is the sad reality of the Bears season finale Sunday at Soldier Field."We have one more game to try and avoid a double-digit losing season,'' Bears coach John Fox said in Tampa after a 26-21 victory that "improved" the Bears to 6-9.How about that for a battle cry? Try to smile through gritted teeth as you chant it. Better yet, sing about pink, fluffy unicorns dancing on rainbows.Just save the self-indulgent poppycock about the pursuit of excellence, nobility of purpose or the human drama of athletic competition for the naive and guileless. And not another word about the "culture of winning" the Bears are trying to create. If the Bears really want to create a culture of winning, upgrade the talent on the roster. There is a huge deficiency in that area and the only way to fix it is to draft well, develop players and keep them on the team. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/columnists/ct-losing-winning-for-bears-mulligan-spt-1230-20151229-column.html
