NICK BOSA

Pressure Rate: over 27 %! (12.5 % is elite)

Record: 5-0 (# 2 defense DVOA before today; possibly # 1 after)

BRIAN BURNS

Pressure Rate: Nearly 14 %
Sacks: 5
Stops: 10
FF: 1
FR: 1
TD: 1
Grade: 73.4 (before Bucs game)
Record: 4-2 (# 8 defense DVOA before today)

JOSH ALLEN

Pressure Rate: Around 11.5 %
Sacks: 5

FF: 1
FR: 0

Grade: 65.3 (before NO game)
Record: 2-4 (# 25 DVOA - will go up a fair bit after today)

There really isn't anyone else in the conversation.

* Ed Oliver has played solid for one of the best defenses in the league, but not enough game changing plays and his grade isn't up there.

* Devin Bush has poor grades, has been very poor in the passing game (102 Passer Rating against), and only has a couple of splash plays. His last 3 weeks have been good though, so he is ascending. He could be in the mix.

* Winovich has been very good as a rotational and Special Teams player, but his snaps have been limited compared to the above 4.

* Greedy Williams has played well when he has been there, but that Browns secondary has been decimated by injuries (Williams and Ward have been out a fair bit due to hamstrings etc).

There really isn't anyone in the conversation.

+++++++++++++++

That Pressure Rate by Bosa is just utterly ridiculous. Burns and Allen have played well, but Bosa has been All Pro worthy thus far. That Pressure Rate is historic. For context, Donald's best for a season is 18.3 %. Watt's best was 17.8 %. These were historic defensive seasons.
