Bucs should win, but injuries to their skill position players is going to be an excuse if they lose.

First game the Bucs made it closer than they should to an identity-less football team. Bucs were fairly healthy compared to now and struggled at times. Then, the Eagles were a team that doesn’t resemble the current one.

Their defense is ranked 10th overall. They aren’t terrible, they have one corner who is going to try and lock up ME13. The rest of the receivers are a bowl of JAGs and backups for life. The running back platoon is decimated, down to Sneak? Oh dear lord we are in trouble on the ground this game. Sneak is definition of JAG. The other two guys are antiques. Relics of the early 2010’s. They are basically worthless as runners.

Rain and wind plays into the Eagles newfound offensive identity. And the Bucs have been in decline against the ground game. The Bucs need Brady to be precise and his receivers to be even more so. The pass attack WILL get affected by the wind and rain. Their run game in the playoffs is crucial. Do you trust the Bucs defense? They are a hit and miss group and have been all year. I feel like the defense is going to make us want to pull out our teeth and the eagles just chew up clock on the Bucs.

This feels like an upset that could happen, that wouldn’t surprise me at all.

Then again, Eagles have faced some garbage teams lately and that has really boosted their stock. But you know the saying…

I think Tom needs to be really really great today. If they lose it will be devastating to me…

Go Bucs. I hope they play a good game from front to back for once. It’s about time this group came together and looked like champs…

And no more God Damned injuries…
