LaPorta a full go. One of the biggest challenges
True dat, who will drop back and cover LaPorta, #45? Ruh Roh.

Anyone but Devin. Britt or awj or Zyon hopefully.
They have been using him as a pass rusher primarily. That’s where he flourishes. He has made plays in coverage occasionally too however. No denying his speed.
They did a good job neutralizing LaPorta back in October.
Anyone know how Goff has done against the blitz?
Does Bowles keep the heat on or dial it back?

During the Rams game last week, the announcers were saying he tends to err when under pressure. I'm hoping against hope Bowles is scheming some blitzes for the Lions that are just as effective as the blitzes against the Eagles.

This little tidbit is from Pride of Detroit site talking about their game with the Bears, saying the book is out on how to stop Lions offense/Goff: "Against the Lions on Sunday, the Bears dialed up the pressure, blitzing Jared Goff on 11 of his 39 dropbacks (28.2%) which led to him positing an 8.3 NFL passer rating on those plays. Goff completed four of 10 passes for just 13 yards and an interception on those 11 dropbacks, and the Bears registered four pressures, a sack, and forced Goff into making two turnover-worthy plays."
Going off memory I'm pretty sure we beat them on both lines of scrimmage but Baker just pissed the game away. A long would be Mike Evans TD turned into an interception and he missed some long throws.

good find thanks!
The average ticket price for Sunday's #NFL Divisional Round matchup between the Lions and the Bucs at Ford Field is $1,186
This is the most expensive ticket in divisional history.
IMHO the Kitties are gonna be our first real LITMUS TEST in the Playoff. The Iggles lost before the game even started. The LIONS are playing solid TEAM FOOTBALL, and its gonna be in their house. Listen Im a BUCS fan and I have that never say die attitude burned into my being, but I feel our offseason may start SUNDAY. I hope we crush'em, of course. But the games have to be played. I got my fingers crossed, Ill wear my AW3!!!! jersey and do what I always do. ROOT for the win, and accept a defeat like a MAN. What else can anyone do. Buuut, lets kick their asses all over the place. Win the game early and just keep the foot on the gas pedal on offense, defense, and ST all game every play, fight for each blade of grass. If I see that and we lose, I can still consider a victory according to what I wanna see outta my team. Single seasons are great, but I like dynasties grow over several seasons. KC is the example from the AFC, they are gonna be on top as long as P Ma is there, just like the Pats were with Brady.
I posted in my how I would attack the lions thread. We must we must jam the receivers in their stack/bunch concept to throw off Goffs timing. We can do exactly what the bears did to goff
Feel we have a chance but would not be disappointed if we lost
very few are picking us to pull off the upset
the eagles were in a free fall which is why it was a coin flip
that being said we were not favored against eagles, jaguars, packers or falcons and how’d those games turn out?
Lions were a 12 win team. We won 9 games, irry similar to Dallas match up last year and we got spanked
thing is we are 6-1 in our last 7 (3 wins against winning teams)
so which team shows up on Sunday? The 6-1 team or the 4-7 team. I’m thinking the 6-1 team and we give lions a good go
i also hope referees don’t decide the game either with some bullshit roughing the passer call that gives lions the game. Nothing like a Detroit 3 decade drought playoff run continuing being good for story lines as opposed to Bucs who won 3 years ago.
not saying it will happen but let’s not act like NFL refs can’t screw up a game

There was 1 to Evans and 2 to Palmer.
Both were clearly FIRST OR SECOND READS (to the Byron/Baker Leg Humpers), and he absolutely whiffed on all of them.
Keep in mind, these were the ones for layup TD's.
I'm not even factoring the other explosives.
