Holyfield is forgoing his senior season to declare for the draft. Right now he is projected as the 11 best RB prospect... which would (currently) place him 2nd/3rd round grade... similar to his predecessors Sony Michel and Nick Chubb.
Elijah Holyfield like his father is the real deal. He is the prototype NFL bell cow RB. He's rushed for 1,000+ yards in a backfield by committee that featured four 5 star RB prospects... This year he was in the top 2 of the 1-2 punch with Swift in UGA's attack. last year he was the #4 behind Chubb, Michel, and Swift.
I don't know more than NFL scouts and coaches... and I definitely don't know more about what this team needs than professional scouts and coaches... but on my wish list is Elijah Holyfield. I just want to go on record saying this guy is the next big name RB.
Cut out all of the finesse (which he does have in his game)... give me the meat and potatos, down hill, physical runner, that is looking for contact. (He also has a track back ground)...

Draft some big uglies upfront and if this guy can be had for a late 2nd rounder/ early 3rd rounder I am GAME!
His stock is going to rise after the combine tho. He's an absolute beast... May end up being a late 1st round early 2nd round grade. Which our team could probably use better at other positions... but again. My personal wish list. Keep an eye on his stock and check out some highlight tapes.
