If we could rewind to about mid-season, at that time, this team seemed worse than it had in previous regimes...and that's a tall order. However, in the past several games, what we had hoped for when BA was hired seems to be finally coming to fruition. Oddly, it didn't come gradually, its as if a flip was switched and we went from complete garbage to a respectable team with some potential heading into next season. What I am seeing does not seem to be "fluky" either, I think something has fundamentally changed in our team identity which will carry over.

Winston has been absolutely amazing in the past few games. I know, I know...he always plays better once the season is lost, but I have a feeling that we may want to resign him to a long term deal.

Our secondary is finally respectable, aaaannnddd they're all rookies. They have a great future, I like Dean the best of the bunch.

Our dline has the horses to be a really good line if we can keep Barrett. Vea can anchor in the middle and Nassib can be that blue collar high motor guy.

As far as D. White, I know he has been a liability in pass coverage, but I cant help liking the kid. With more time, I think he will be a real force. LVD seems to be having as good of a year as he's had in several years.

Moving forward, I really think our biggest weaknesses are along the oline. I think Ali is a stud and Cappa is still a work in progress. The tackles though are a liability, and I haven't really paid enough attention to Jensen to see if he is holding his own at center.

RB is another question area. Man Rojo can create some exciting plays when he gets going, and his screens can be deadly. What do the coaches need to do to keep him on the field on all three downs? I know he needs to improve his pass protecting, but he also needs to eliminate the negative yardage plays as well. I'd like to see him targeted in the pass game a bit more.

In any care, I was extremely skeptical of the entire organization for the better part of the year, but we are closing out well, and I can see them laying down the building blocks for future success.

What do you guys think needs to happen to get us over the hump. Mine are the oline play and some more consistency with the run game. If we could do that, It would not surprise me one bit ti see us in a wild card chase next year.
