Mix that elementary offensive scheme, with an OC who can’t mentally wrap his head around the modern landscape of NFL offenses (analytics, etc) and sprinkle in a cocky, smug, arrogant stubborn attitude and this is what you get.

It works when you have 3 studs at wideout and a good option at TE. Even during the Super Bowl run, teams regularly knew what we were doing, they just couldn't stop it. With lesser, but still good, talent it was a lot harder to have success. I also wonder what the deal was with the red zone offense. Every play we ran seemed to have everyone covered, with some exceptions. But every time we went to the hurry up offense, that Brady was calling the routes on, we moved the ball. Amazing. But sure, it wasn't BL's fault the offense sucked, now was it? (where did my eyeballs roll off to?)
