QB: I like Glennon's upside but a third round pick is a waste from my view if that player doesn't pan out to be a serviceable starter for their career. Jordan Rodgers is an interesting project but not sure how he fits the new scheme.RB: Bucs running back talent is fairly good compared to other teams in the league. FB: Loriga I have a favorable opinion of, but I believe the Bucs can find an upgrade through the draft.WR: Other than Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams I don't like the talent behind these guys that are under contract. I expect a major revamp this off season.OT: Penn could be replaced but overall I like the OT talent assembled on this team with a better coaching staff. OG: Bucs have a lot of bodies at guard but none that really stand out. I have a favorable opinion of Meredith and Larsen unlike most but both are free agents. Another area that needs an infusion of talentTE: Wright is a nice project and Stocker may live another season as he is under contract till 2015. However, there isn't anything else noteworthy to be excited about. I want to see a two way TE added this year or maybe next.DE: Bucs have a lot of young talented DE's but no top tier guy to pull this group together. A scheme change helps but a top tier speed rusher would be ideal.DT: Fairly content with the DT's I have seen on this roster thus far.OLB: Too many free agents here so I expect a complete revamp of this unit. Doubt the Bucs can re-sign all three free agents.MLB: Foster moving over to SAM would alleviate shortage of OLBs however no capable mike if that is done on the roster.CB: The collection of CB's on the roster I am fairly satisfied with but Bucs need a guy that has some long speed to be added to the mix IMO.S: Nice mix of talent but I would feel better if the Bucs added a cover safety.P: Koenen I feel should be cut and the Bucs look for an upgrade.K: Barth I feel good about especially compared to Lindell haha.Off season needs: QB, Slot WR, Backup Flanker, Backup Split End, Two way Tight End or Blocking Tight End, Left Guard, Interior Swing OL, Full Back, Edge Rushing DE, Speedy OLB, Backup Mike, Nickel CB, Cover safety, KR/PR specialist, Punter. By my count that is 14 areas to be addressed. New regime has a lot of work ahead of them.
This team is one Manziel away from the Super Bowl.
I can see us drafting a QB in rounds 2 and on, if we don't move up int he first it is going to be very hard to get a QB at our spot, there are some very good sleepers who can be gems later in the draft such as Brett Smith, Jimmy Garoppolo and a few others, can't wait until the off season, even the Senior Bowl has me excited.
Overall a good evaluation. MLB and SLB are going to be interesting as I could see Mason moving. You forgot to add the Center position, which I feel needs an upgrade just as much as the Guard position. I think Davin, Zuttah, and Koenen are as good as cut. These are the needs that I see we need to address in the off season in order:1. DE2. Interior OL3. TE4. WR depth5. Nickel CB6. LB
don't be shocked if we draft C.J. Mosley..
QB: I think Glennon is decent but I don't know that he will ever be great. I definitely would like to bring someone in to challenge Glennon. I am all for drafting a QB in round one if it's Manziel. If not him, I'd rather wait and see what's available in round 2-4.RB: I agree that our RB depth is very good. Martin is one of the better backs in the league and we have to very capable backups. I wouldn't mind trading one for a 2nd or 3rd round pick if possible.FB: I also agree that Lorig is decent...but not great. I'd like to find more of a pure blocking fullback to open holes for Martin.WR: Once again we agree. I think Jackson is a definite #1 and Mike Williams is pretty good. I am still not 100% sold on him as a #2...but he's not that far off. We still need a #3/slot WR. Underwood is ok...but he should be the 4th WR on the team.OT: I think Penn is overrated but he's still better than average. I might try and restructure his deal. A lot depends on what we do with the 1st pick and who's available. If Manziel, Barr, and Clowney are gone...I take Matthews and I either trade or cut Penn. Dotson is a good RT. Depth is not great.OG: I honestly don't like any of our guards. None are above average. I don't want any of them back. Nicks you can't trust with his injury and he's making way too much money. Joseph (if he takes a pay cut) I'd be willing to bring back to see if his knee was better...but I'd also bring in competition. Not going to hand him a stating job.TE: I think Wright is athletic and has good hands, but he's a liability in the run game. I hope he bulks up a little in the offseason but we need to find an every down TE to go along with Wright. Crabtree may be back...but he didn't impress me much at all when he was healthy.DE: I hope the Bucs new coaches can bring some life back to these guys but the only DEs worth anything is Clayborn but we MUST get an elite pash rusher opposite him. Bowers and Ghoulston can be brought back to see if they can reach their potential but neither are starting material. Honestly...I am ready to give up on Bowers. DT: I'd like to add some depth at DT, but I think we are fine with Spence and McCoy startingOLB: David is a stud and Watson and Casillas played pretty well. I hope we can resign one or both. I wouldn't mind seeing an upgrade but honestly we have bigger needs.MLB: Foster has played well this past year at MLB. While I think we can do better, not a major need. We can live with him. He's easily the 2nd best LB on the squad.CB: I think we could use one more CB. Revis, Banks, and Leonard are a nice trio...but I'd feel better if Leonard was our 4th. Again...this is not a huge need.S: Our starters are good but after that...I think the rest of them are subpar. If we could bring in some depth that would be great...but not a huge need.P: Koenen is great on kickoffs and is a decent punter but I don't know that he's elite and deserves the contract he has. I might look at upgrading the punter.K: I am very much looking forward to Barth coming back. He was so good. I just hope he comes back as good as he was before the injury.Off season needs: QB, 3rd WR, TE, OG or two, Elite DEOff Season nice to have: OT, OLB, Nickle Corner, Punter
Sign Wesley Woodyard move Mason to SLB.
IMO - Off season needs: QB, 3rd WR, PR/KR, TE, OG, swing OT, Elite DE
There is some nice talent on the team, now if they can add a few more nice players in this years draft, and add maybe a free agent or two, I think they can contend. That is, if Lovie can pull it all together. Both Lines need work.
QB, WR, TE, LT, G, DEThose are positions that realistically could/should use better talent

...superbowl!?Pfft..sign me up for just a freaking playoff appearance already.
Nice to see something besides "The entire team is a bunch of scrubs that wouldn't start on an Icelandic backyard football team."
Penn needs to go. Joseph needs to go. Larsen needs to go. DTN needs to go. Leonard Johnson needs a serious eval. Orlovsky needs to go. Stocker needs to go. Bring back Myron Lewis. To coach the cheerleaders. That's a solid start. Those guys are replaceable.

THE PLAYOFFS!?!?!?
Nice to see something besides "The entire team is a bunch of scrubs that wouldn't start on an Icelandic backyard football team."
Haha I could do that for next time.Anyways current projected starters based which players are under contract thus far:QB: Mike GlennonRB: Doug MartinFB: Lonnie PryorWR: Vincent JacksonWR: Mike WilliamsTE: Tim WrightLT: Donald PennLG: Gabe CarimiOC: Jeremy ZuttahRG: Davin JosephRT: Demar DotsonLDE: William GholstonNT: Akeem SpenceUT: Gerald McCoyRDE: Adrian ClaybornSSLB: Ka'Lial GlaudMLB: Mason FosterWLB: Lavonte DavidCB: Darrelle RevisCB: Johnthan BanksS1: Mark BarronS2: Dashon GoldsonK: Connor BarthP: Michael KoenenKR/PR: Eric PaigeLS:????Good news is there is room for upgrades but the current list of projected starters would be satisfactory with a new coaching staff in the short term. But I do want to see improvement in terms of depth and starters. Left guard, FB, LS, KR/PR and SSLB stick out like sore thumbs though.
