Seems impossible BUT he needs to average 95 yards/game the rest of the year.
Not likely but would be awesome to see him hit it
One of the arguments used against Evans and his 1,000 yard streak was that it was easy for him to get because he is almost never injured - as if that's a negative against him. Obviously, I'd like to see him extend it too - but this just highlights how difficult his streak has been and why nobody else has ever done it.
hes an amazing player either way, but I thought I read that his career average is closer to 70 per game?
Again, he's amazing but coming back from a speed injury as a strider and with no Godwin opposite, uts should be tough.
but he's a future HOFer for a reason so . .
I think he needs 665 yards and has 7 games

Exactly
Giants are top 4 pass defense with 184 yards per game.
Raiders rank 11th with 202 yards per game.
Chargers rank 12th with 206 yards
Cowboys rank 19th with 215 yards
Carolina ranks 24th with 227 yards per game
Saints rank 29th with 257 yards per game (His kryptonite Lattimore traded)
i suppose the good news in terms of the top rated pass defenses is that Baker has no one else to throw too so i imagine Mike will be targeted a lot. So say he only throws for 200 yards this sunday, its quite possible Mike gets 120 of it
let's hold out hope boys!
also Mike had some monster games last year - 171 yards against Bears, 143 against Titans, 162 against Carolina, and 147 against Detroit (playoffs)
let's say he has 2 games where he goes off for 150 each...that gets him to 635 (335 currently) with 5 games or 73 yards per game to reach 1,000
it's possible but yeah if he just goes for 60 yards against the Giants, he's running out of time for sure.
Gotta have someone to take the heat off of Mike…otherwise they’ll just double him. That’s going to require more than Cade Otton, too.
Yeah I'm gonna guess he finishes with 850 sadly.
no one else to throw too so i imagine Mike will be targeted a lot
or barely because of double coverage, safety over the top all day

Run the ball well and that changes
well Godwin is out unfortunately. but that's one thing in Evans' favor.
A lot of digs & crossing patterns…hope Mike’s hammy is feeling strong…no one else to throw too so i imagine Mike will be targeted a lot

Now if Shep or JMac could figure something out… it wouldn’t be Godwin-like, but it could help open up the offense just enough.

good point. Maybe that is the difference. No Godwin but we’ve got play action!
