Is he going to get it? No clue but I think if he is after it he needs to do it in next two games. saints will quadruple him and lose by fifty only to stop him doing it! they are by far the biggest evil in this league!
If we clinch the division in the next 2 weeks, I hope they sit Mike against the Saints.
Don’t care if he only needs 20 yards to hit 1K.
He could have another big week against Dallas…he’ll still have time to get 1k, and rest. Thats my Christmas wish.

Would be ideal.

Diggs is out for the year, so he definitely could have a big day. Baker needs to look at him early and often.

absolutely ageee, but something tells me they wouldn‘t do that

I agree with you.
And, you know the Saints will be head hunting that game.
Reid on Mahomes - "If he can go, he'll go."
leaving it to the player

Mahomes was FP today. He's probably going to play unless he has a setback late this week.

Oh shit didn't see that

I don’t see them resting Mike unless he’s like 200 yards short
Mikes streak is something that puts him in the sports history books and bigger than this Bucs team that nobody will remember decades from now
Evans describing one of his TDs
"“I knew it was coming to me,” Evans said after the game. “Baker threw a perfect ball. I had the corner on the outside which is what I want. I wanted the outside leverage."
"“It was third-and-long,” Evans explained. “We haven’t gone long a lot on third-and-long and they were probably sitting on our routes [as a result]."
He only has 251 yds to go, and the streak almost means more to Baker than it does to Evans. They'll get it done.
Like you said elsewhere… it may be hints of going deep, more, against Dallas.Evans describing one of his TDs

I really think it is that we finally have Mike capable of deep shots now, and Jalen McMillan is finally coming around - not Chris Godwin ready - but an outside threat to respect..and the running game demands attention.
Dallas is putting some things together as well, and CD Lamb can be a problem…so the running game will still be a focus.
Also think Coen will be still be judicious with the deep shots, but more exploring will likely be in the gameplan.

To me, our OL has really been impressive during this run. I don't know if their improvement from last year is due to coaching (thank you Kevin Carberry), scheme (thank you Coen) or players getting more experience (probably all of the above), but it seems the Bucs finally have a very good OL, trending towards elite.

totally agree
we definitely improved the talent on the line just by virtue of our new Center and the ongoing development of Mauch. Otton is also blocking much better too.
But, I am with you when it comes to crediting the coaches. This week Baldinger features a the big run where we run a counter trey. if you watch that one play you will see near perfection in blocking, right down to Otton setting up their guy on the edge.
