Totally agree. Also watched QB School on the blocking for the same play with 3 different backs - Bucky always hit it, White hit it, Tucker totally misread the block/hole. That could just be due to a lack of touches - but it completely helps you understand why we have the right RB depth chart the way it is!and the running game demands attention.
To me, our OL has really been impressive during this run. I don't know if their improvement from last year is due to coaching (thank you Kevin Carberry), scheme (thank you Coen) or players getting more experience (probably all of the above), but it seems the Bucs finally have a very good OL, trending towards elite.
totally agree
we definitely improved the talent on the line just by virtue of our new Center and the ongoing development of Mauch. Otton is also blocking much better too.
But, I am with you when it comes to crediting the coaches. This week Baldinger features a the big run where we run a counter trey. if you watch that one play you will see near perfection in blocking, right down to Otton setting up their guy on the edge.
Regarding the OP - definitely believe the whole team trying to help Mike get his 1k - has given every player a reason to play for someone/something beyond themselves. Everyone knows what they’re fighting for - making it personal.
Great VR breakdown of the Evans touchdown
That is cool, well worth the watch. Orlovsky was a journeyman backup, but he is an All-Pro analyst. I see him every week on Get Up doing his thing.
