I think Evans tests the waters and ends up back in Tampa on a 3-yr deal for something in the neighborhood of $75-$80M (with a good chunk guaranteed).
Houston and KC are the only 2 teams I worry about with him.
I think Evans end up in Detroit or Houston unfortunately
It worked recently (Dean?), could work in this situation.I think Evans tests the waters and ends up back in Tampa on a 3-yr deal for something in the neighborhood of $75-$80M (with a good chunk guaranteed).

Worked with LVD (the only good LB we've had for the last 5 years).
So, yeah, it could work with Evans as well.
I get the Houston angle. It would be a homecoming for him, they have a ton of cap space, and an extremely promising young QB.
That being said, the Texans have a pretty damn good receiving duo in Collins and Dell. Both young and cheap.
KC is the only one that worries me. It's EASILY the best shot at another ring (and further cementing his HoF resume).
I think Godwin walks next year
I think you could be right.
And, it would ultimately result in a $19M dead cap hit.
I am sooo thankful I don’t have to make the decisions. Unless it’s just a matter of ironing out the details, then just be patient. But if both parties are “far” apart…who’s offering what and why…the court of public opinion is harsh and typically* right. If we had a chance to see what numbers were being exchanged/discussed then it could be obvious to even the most casual fan. For example of JL and Crew are offering him 20 mil a year for one year… I would pack my bags at the disrespect. On the flip side if Mike is asking for 30-35 mil a year for 5 years fully guaranteed, as much as I love the dude, I’d pack his bags for him and pay for one way air fair* to the destination with the most “paper” to entice him with. Fate and history both suggest that teams with boatloads of cash are cheap in FA and are hesitant in investing in draft capital Already spent…those teams….with lots and lots of Free cap room, either have legendary cap wizards…or they perennially suck. Teams that are great are cash strapped because they have to pay “more” AWESOME players. If you’ve got mediocre players…yeah, just don’t overpay…
This not helpful!!I think Evans end up in Detroit or Houston unfortunately
Bucs need to get this done!

Hadn't thought of this. I would hate this for the Bucs, but would be good for him. Ugh
State income tax reduces the competitive nature of a Kansas City, Missouri offering by about 10.91%, I think there may even be another 1% for the city of Kansas City.
Ditto for New England…maybe not as much, but it is a consideration.
