I'm not concerned about it.
He still averages 14 yards per catch. That says they are not throwing him dink and dunk passes. He always seems to get a ten yard over the middle pass where he gets clobbered right after he catches the ball, or he is catching a sideline pass. He is more likely to stop in an open area rather than catch the ball on the run. I'm just going on pure memory, but I just think its the kind of passes that are thrown to him. vWho cares if he is getting the yards before or after he catches the ball? Chris Carter was criticized because "all he does is catch touchdowns." If I'm Evans I'd happily accept the criticism "All he does is get 1st downs."
