I am a long time Bucs fan like many others on here... I want us to be contenders. I'm sick of watching games slip by year after year and talking draft half way through the season. Its understandable the frustration from fellow fans wanting to win especially with the length of lackluster performance since our last playoff appearance 2007? And to think the last playoff win was the year we won the superbowl??? I think that clearly shows how frustrated we all are. That is just overwhelming to us die hard fans. And as frustrating as it is... I just want to point out some things. For one this is Arians and Bowles first year. This is the team they inherited. The offense has been very good for few years now at least the passing game... And the Defense, well we all can agree is and has been disgusting. But keep in mind Bowles has a very very young secondary learning a brand new scheme. But these young kids are learning together as a unit. I think this is gonna pay off big for the future of this defense. It's easy to pick at young guys making mistakes because we lost a game. It's going to happen its inevitable. I believe the team is on the track to success for years to come. It's just going to take time for growth by a very young secondary. We might be 2-6 but that record could be much different. Toe to toe with the Rams taking the win? Going to Seattle and almost pulling out the win? I want to win so bad it hurts. But what I want more then anything is getting back to making the playoffs year after year. And I feel it's going to happen starting year 2 under Arians/ Bowles with a much more in tune secondary and team. I look forward to seeing how they finish this second half of the season. Go Bucs!
