Would you trade Godwin and 51st 2023 and a 2024 4th round
For 1st over all this year.
Impossible to answer unless you can tell us what pick it is or at least a range within five. I wouldn't do it for the 30th pick.
I would not trade Godwin for anything less than a franchise-transforming haul of draft picks. You don't trade your toughest and best players, a team leader in terms of effort and dedication, without an unusual level of compensation. It's dumbassery to even suggest it.
@catherder my bad 50th pick which would be our 2nd round pick . Sorry
@buccaneernw it was fake , no need to throw a diss out. No worries , it won’t really happen because I typed it .

While the trade situation you mentioned is extremely unrealistic, Godwin is 100% a trade asset.
And, he's nowhere near what @buccaneernw claims he's worth.

He's worth a lot more to the team than what his statistics show. I wouldn't be looking to trade him. If someone dropped a high-mid first rounder plus a second rounder, I might discuss it.
No NFL team is going to offer anywhere near a 1st and a 2nd rounder for Godwin. I agree that Godwin is a valuable player for the Bucs, but realistically all the Bucs could expect is a third rounder in a trade. Better to keep him in Tampa than having to replace him. And, he's nowhere near what @buccaneernw claims he's worth.

Note: there were 22 receivers in 2022 with more than 1000 yards receiving.

Which is exactly why i wouldn't be looking to trade a guy like Godwin. He means way more to this team than we could expect to ever receive in compensation.
Would rather trade upto #1 next year.
better qb class.
I'd have to think about a mid first round pick for Godwin. He has a lot of heart, and is a great team player and model citizen. But he also carries a big cap hit and is injury prone. He's injury prone not because he has an injury prone body, but because he has an injury prone position and playing style. Of course football is injury prone, but especially how Godwin plays. I see in the mock drafts the best WRs going in the middle of the round anywhere from 12 to 20 or so. If you land one of those you can get five years of a rookie contract. It seems to be a deep draft at WR, so if you want to wait until the 2nd or 3rd round then you can. That's how we got Godwin. But if you want one of those top two or three stud WRs then you are going to have to get up there. These are the types of things the Bucs are going to have to consider if they want to get out of the cap hole they are in.
