South Carolina defensive end Jadeveon Clowney said that he’d like to see the Falcons trade up to secure his rights in May’s draft, something that Falcons General Manager Thomas Dimitroff called “great to hear.”Dimitroff downplayed Clowney’s words, saying he thought the player was saying that to everyone. He didn’t say that a trade up in the draft order was out of the question, however, and told Mike Florio of PFT as much at the combine in Indianapolis last week. On Monday, he added that the team could make a move in the other direction as well.“Look, like I’ve said, I’ve been very clear about this, we will always be open for business. We will always be open to move up and back, depends on what’s right for us,” Dimitroff said on NFL Network, via the Atlanta Journal Constitution. “Again, I feel really comfortable with where we are at six, but there are opportunities on both sides of six.”You wouldn’t expect a general manager to say anything else in February, of course. If Dimitroff does want to move up, he’s got a couple of former colleagues to call in the effort. Rams General Manager Les Snead and Jaguars General Manager Dave Caldwell, whose teams pick second and third respectively, both used to work for Dimitroff in Atlanta and may be getting a phone call from their old boss in the coming months.
Fucking Falcons.
Apparently they still think they're "one player away"....

Let them think that and see how far it gets them. Good for us.
3SK's Breaking NewsThe Atlanta Falcons for the first time since Dr Pepper was released, have a draft pick. They had previously traded them all for Julio Jones. They are now in discussions to trade their first draft pick in a long time. This time should be easier for the GM, Atlanta is no longer populated by dinosaurs with peanut brains. Just neanderthal.

**CENSORED**ing Falcons.
Unicorn **CENSORED**...Never happen...

I think it is extremely unlikely they trade up.
With as much success they have had, you would think the bucs would take the hint and do something ballzy for once.

The Bucs haven't exactly been in a position where it seemed like they were only one or two pieces away in quite a while. When they were, they did, and they got a superbowl out of it.

Obviously being ballsy isn't working...they watched the Playoffs and the Super Bowl in the living rooms last year...

Never mind a team who can or cannot make or win playoffs.. minus last season, their fans could usually go to home games expecting a win.As pathetic as that may sound, it's better than what this team has been doing. Sniffing playoffs by freaking mid season would be an improvement to the bucs.

the problem with the Bucs is that we haven't had a coach in 6 years (?). the Failcons have a decent coach in Mike Smith but they still suck. id rather at least have an excuse. theres no reason for them to do what they did last season. once a loser, always a loser
Shear w/l ratio is incomparable. They have been a much better team than the bucs the last several years.Lets put it this way. I can honestly say that only 20 percent of games I have gone to resulted in a win. And that was mostly the gruden years. Only one game in the past four years resulted in a win while I was there watching. Last season, I wasted my money on only two games..that they didn't win. Now, IF I'm a failgoon fan.... do I normally have that problem?Point being, we're a team that tanks right after the season starts. They're a team that tanks in or aeound playoffs. At least they have hope. We stand around like wtf...
well that's what happens when you hire guys like Morris and Schiano and have a QB like Freeman who couldn't get his head out of his ass
Clowney is a bitch. A wanna-be Falcon **CENSORED**.
Clowney is a **CENSORED**. A wanna-be Falcon **CENSORED**.
Yup. Even If I have liked him as a player before, I'd be done now.If manziel would've said that, I'd be done touting him too, and he's my favorite player this draft.
