Can anyone explain why the Falcons finished ahead of us in the division but get to pick ahead of us in the draft?  Seems if we're bad enough to be last in the NFC South we should at least get to pick ahead of them.  If there is a difference maker there at 6 we should get first dibs.

Please stay away from Clowney. . he is playing the "physical freak at the combine" game to get his first big contract.  Once it's signed, it's back to falling asleep in team meetings, giving 30% effort and partying.  He's a  combination of Albert Haynesworth and Mike Mamula.  .Albert Mamula!

The reason why Clowney probably said he would like to play for the Falcons is because he was born and raised in South Carolina who doesnt have a NFL franchise...so they probably was his favorite team. If we excluded all the players on out team who during draft time didnt have the bucs as their #1 team on their list to play we might be fielding a team of maybe 3 players. Plain and simple the guy is going to be a nightmare around the edge and those who dont believe this are just either refusing to face the facts or just plain blind. I have followed this kid since he first took a snap with Spurrier at South Carolina he was ready for the NFL the first day he stepped on the field as a freshman. Not many people you can say that about.  If you watched his games in full the guy was a constant nightmare to block and  he always had to be accounted for.Yeah his attitude may have sucked for his last seasonBut there is a thread about a guy named Carlos Dunlap where people are willing to sign him...his last year he was the king of the Cadillac at Florida...did that make him a BUM in the NFL?

With as much success they have had, you would think the bucs would take the hint and do something ballzy for once.

Obviously being ballsy isn't working...they watched the Playoffs and the Super Bowl in the living rooms last year...

.........and have every year since 1998.  The Falcons are no franchise to model after.  I'm not interested in "winning" the off-season.

They basically sold out the long-term success of the team for the short term with the Jones trade. While good, they never got the Lombardi, are will be paying the price for a while longer as they have scrambled to plug the holes in their rotting infrastructure......
