While I looked through the film, I originally was focused on the secondary. But as I kept digging through the plays, it was clear, Devin White did not play a good game.
And before you get angry and say “it’s only been two games!” I agree. It is way too early to label anyone from the 2019 draft class a bust. You need to give players at least three years to form a complete narrative in my opinion.
But his play on Sunday was eye-catching, and not in a positive way. The box score looked great, he led the team in tackles and even had a key tackle for loss. But his play in pass coverage was suspect at best.
