Plenty of hungry young office personnel...not worried.
@GilArciaTBC:Word is they could just be on a blocking spree. Marvin Allen was also blocked apparently. KC wants to keep their front office in tact. Also, PFT reported that the requests to interview Ross (Giants) and Vital (Falcons) have been granted by their respective teams.( http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/01/09/cross-chris-ballard-off-buccaneers-g-m-list/)
All this talk about Lovie the evaluator is bit mis guided to me. Nobody knows the power Lovie had in Chicago and I assume he didn't have all with Angelo or Angelo would be the guy here. I read a quote from the new GM Emery about one the main reason Lovie wasn't in Chicago was the HC QB relationship. Makes me wonder if that Cutler trade wasn't something Lovie wanted and that's why he made sure in his next job that doesn't happen again.
I'm not too upset. He was a scout with the Bears until very recently and doesn't have that much experience. I think we can find someone with more experience and more new ideas outside of the Lovie-Chicago connection.
Angelo made most of the personnel decisions in Chicago so we are in uncharted territory with Lovie Smith as a personnel evaluator.
