Finally, a break from the past

When Mark Dominik and Raheem Morris took over the team in 2009, they cut a few prominent players who clearly couldn't play anymore and inserted their own players into those positions, but for the most part they spent three years with most of the same players Bruce Allen and Jon Gruden had, they just paid them more. For the first time in many, many years, the powers that be are consciously discarding players who can still play. This team has gone 28-52 the last five years. The way things were going was not working.
