Everyone talks about how the Glazers cant fire Lovie b/c they gave him a 5 year deal but that's the worst excuse ever. These are some very basic reasons why he has to go:1) He's supposedly a defensive guru, but he has completely fed up our defense. Guess what, Schiano's defense last year was actually a TOP 10 DEFENSE based on overall defensive metrics. If you dont believe me, click the link: http://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/teamdef2013 We were super aggressive, maybe too aggressive on D but I could see this defense becoming dominant under Schiano's scheme one day. McCoy finally reached his potential and Lavonte was blossoming into a dominant player. Now this defense plays way too conservatively and we have taken several steps backwards.2) His personnel decisions have been AWFUL. I'm not blaming Licht on this b/c we all know he's a puppet. In order to hire Lovie, we needed to give him full control over player personnel and he screwed that up by letting go of Zuttah as well as Wright and a 4th rounder for an aging Mankins. He also let go of Revis, who by the way frustrated Brandon Marshall, who in my opinion is a top10 receiver in this league, all day today. Oh and he's 10x better than Verner and Johnson combined.3) Our most important position, QB, has been royally screwed up by Lovie. He names McCown, a journeyman QB, our starter and attempts to trade Glennon in preseason. Once Lovie realizes a ton of teams are willing to trade for Glennon he decides Glennon is the "QB of the Future." Wow... If it wasnt for a McCown injury, we'd be 0-7 with Glennon riding the bench right further stunting his growth. In addition, he's allowing some dumbass offensive coordinator with zero experience in the NFL teaching our supposed QB of the future how to play NFL football.4) Lovie said we weren't rebuilding and we needed to win now. He said that with a dominant defense alone, we'll be at least 0.500. The Glazers bought this s. Well now we're in rebuilding mode and i'm anticipating Jackson and Martin out the door after today's loss. Well guess what, there are no excuses and Lovie deserves to be let go.Even though i'm pissed we just lost to a bad Viking's team, everything I wrote above makes sense to me.
