IMO we need Dennis to be a great defense.   The defense can't afford to have ILB be the weak link once again.  

This was mocked a bit, but so far at least its pretty spot on.  I think Dennis might currently be in the bottom five, PFF grade-wise.

LVD is probably middle of the pack on PFF? Not sure.

I think you have this backward. This means we do not need Dennis. He is not important because he isn't good. 

 

I read Trask's point as the Bucs chose (key point). . .  CHOSE . . to NOT replace Dennis so they really needed him to perform. This is why I pointed out that Licht and Bowles talked about him like he was the heir apparent, but at least so far he is not and ILB is a glaring weakness.
