Peyton Barber

Peyton Barber

Some consider him average but put a decent o-line in front of him and don't be surprised if he plays higher than average. Best part is that he is only 24 years old and with little wear and tear for a RB. Barber hasn't even reached his ceiling as a player IMO which is exciting. Some players ascend quickly but it seems Barber is taking the Earnest Graham route.

Jordan Whitehead

Jordan Whithead

Another player considered average when in fact he played above and beyond what is expected from a rookie and his draft status. His acceleration and aggressiveness despite his size is evident he has the mentality to play at the NFL level. If he can hold up with his style of play he may actually be a gem moving forward for the Bucs.

Antony Auclair

Austin Auclair

Auclair is being overlooked but I think Arians and his staff will quickly notice him. The talent Auclair has given his size and he is only 25 years old. The double practice concept with Arians staff is going to accelerate his development IMO.

Mike Liedtke

Mike Liedtke

Every time I watch Liedtke play he is playing at a different position on the line and he performs with no excuses. One of the reasons why I am not that concerned with O-line depth is because of players like Liedtke. If Liedtke also benefits from the double practice approach with accelerate learning he may even push for a starting spot down the road IMO. Interesting enough he is more of a guard prospect than a tackle prospect but he obviously can do both. Which brings into question why he wasn't pushing for playing time from the previous coaching staff.

Riley Bullough

Riley Bullough

One would think that Bullough would be out of the league by now. But he has stuck around for a bit and with a new defensive scheme focusing on going down hill he may actually ascend the depth chart. The other part is that while Bucannon, Minter and David are solid to be ahead as inside backer you have Bullough as the young guy in reserve. Bullough can take the bull by the horns and secure a roster spot by displaying his downhill instincts with the new coaching staff. Size may be an issue along with athleticism but Bullough's instincts are unquestionable IMO.

There are many other players that are underrated or could break out IMO (eg Shaun Wilson) which is why I am excited to see a coaching staff examine all the players with scrutiny. Especially players on the bottom of the roster that should have seen playing time last year down the stretch IMO.
