My thought into fixing Bucs running back woes will be to first release Doug Martin who by releasing will save this team 6.75 million with no dead money. Also to cut Jaquizz Rodgers who will save 1.6 million with no dead money. Overall that will free up 8.35 million in cap space. Lastly I would not re-sign Charles Simms. So who do you replace them with? First I would have the mindset of only having three RBs in the active roster one of them being Peyton Barber who will be set to making league minimum of 445,000. The next option I would look into free agency the number one guy on my list is Dion Lewis he can run the ball as well as a good pass catcher and has proven to be a third down back in this league. I would offer him anywhere between 3.5 to 4 million a year. Lastly I would look into the draft. The reality is that Sony Michel could increase his draft stock and may not be available in the second round. Still a guy I would target. Rashad penny is another name I would target as well if any of these two backs are on your team they are an instant upgrade to what we had on this years roster. So my three backs would be Sony Michel/Rashad Penny, Dion Lewis and Peyton Barber not only would this run game be an upgrade but would be would be more effective overall. Would help set up play action and not put son much pressure on Winston while also not breaking the bank on a position of need. Please let me here your thoughts. Am I reaching too far or could this actually be a soloutuon?

Go Bucs!
