The Bucs have needed a DE for a Decade and need to find one Now if they want to compete for the playoffs As Bucs fans we have to forget about past Draft Picks from the school of Clemson for a minute and just take a look at the Player, not the helmet. Measurables  6'5  277 lbs    34 inch armsDodd has a very similar build to Bengals DE Carlos Dunlap who Jay Hayes is obviously very familiar with, and based on Bucs FA visits with DE it appears they were interested in bigger DEs with Power. Dodd is 277 Lbs and almost looks skinny so he may be able to gain muscle mass without losing much explosion.Kevin-Dodd-Baker-Mayfield-Ncaa-Football-Orange-Bowl-Oklahoma-Vs-Clemson%20420X280_Zpsgljosyxh.jpgThe player i see and am reminded of when watching Dodd is previous Buc Michael Bennett. The big knocks are not enough pass rush moves and only 1 year of production. So part of this can be developed with coaching and 1 year of good stats make you dig a bit deeper as to why. Things I like are Hustle, there are consistently times he makes tackles 20 plus yards downfield. Being very strong against the Run and also a strong ability to sniff out screens and draws and just be around the footall constantly. I also like that he comes up BIG in BIG games having 3 sacks in the National Champ game. Things i really Like are his awesome first step, he is at times the only Defensive player moving at the snap, not Shaq Lawson. His bend around the edge may only be second in the draft to only Noah Spence, who is over 20 lbs lighter. He really brings it on his pass rushes consistently, Ogbah for example seems to just stand there constantly. He is very good at using his hands to blow past RTs and with his Hip Flexibility is dangerous.
