Deputies: Ex-NFL player Bolden failed to pay child support TBO.com staff Published: August 13, 2014Juran Bolden, a former local high school athlete and one-time NFL player, was jailed in Hillsborough County after his arrest Tuesday, accused of failing to pay child support.Bolden, 40, who played two seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccnaeers, was being held on $75,000 bail on a contempt of court charge, according to jail records.Bolden, who lives in Valrico, was a sports star at Hillsborough High School in the early 1990s. Bolden, a defensive back, was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the fourth round of the 1996 NFL draft out of Mississippi Delta Community College.He was with four other NFL teams before playing with the Bucs in 2005 and 2006. He also played in 1995, 2000-01 and 2007 with the Winnipeg of the Canadian Football League.Bolder was arrested about 10 p.m. Tuesday at Cypress Street and Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, according to jail records.
