Tim Tebow signed with ESPN in December to become an analyst, but his dreams of becoming an NFL quarterback have yet to dissipate. Tebow has at least one supporter — well, sort of — in former Jets general manager Mike Tannenbaum. Tannenbaum believes Tebow will get another opportunity to play in the NFL. “Yeah, Tim obviously didn’t play well in the preseason with New England, but he’s a guy (that’s) incredibly passionate about his career. I would never bet against Tim. We used to have an expression that Tim’s the type of guy who’s either going to be successful or die trying. His relentlessness and passion – I would think he’ll get another opportunity.” Tannenbaum provided the compliment after admitting the Jets’ trade for Tebow was a mistake. “Obviously we made a couple mistakes – trading for Tim Tebow most notably.” Tebow barely played for the Jets during the 2012 season. He ran the ball 32 times and only attempted eight passes. The Jets never found a way to incorporate him into the offense, which is as much the Jets’ fault as Tebow’s. The fact the Jets’ acquisition of Tebow was a mistake is inconsequential to the rest of his career. Tebow is 26 years old. He continues to work on his craft. Tebow even admitted he’s finally addressing the little nuances of the position which plagued him as a passer. He just needs another opportunity to prove he’s an NFL quarterback. The question remains, what team will give him that opportunity?

I seriously doubt the Tebow trade being his "worst move" had anything to do with what he gave up. It created a distraction of epic proportions and in the end cost him his job. Rex wanted nothing to do with him. Shows the importance of a HC and GM working together.
Sanchez was. They would have won the Super Bowl in 2010 with Freeman.
