Shaun Hill could be a good alternative as well, but McCown came off the bench last year and posted elite stats. McCown2013 CHIGAMES-8, COMP-149, ATT-224, 66.5%, 1,829-YDS, 8.17 YPA, 13-TD, LONG-80, 1- INT, 109 QBRATING.I am not bashing your boy Shaun Hill, but exactly when has he ever posted those kinds of numbers? Josh McCown posted those numbers last year on a very average team. A team that looked like the OL was dreadful until McCown came in and then they looked great. Jay Cutler2013 CHI 11- GAMES 224-ATT, 355-COMP, 63.1%, 2,621- YARDS 7.38-YPA 19-TD, 67-LONG, 12-INT 89.2-RATING Still think it's the system? It isn't.
McCown posted career highs in completion percentage, passer rating, and TD:INT ratio. Cutler posted career highs in passer rating, and TD:INT ratio while matching his career high completion percentage. Josh had the best QBR of his career and Cutler had his second best.Prior to 2013, McCown never had a QBR higher than 28 and never had a passer rating higher than 75.So yes, I still think it's the system and the supporting cast.

Jeffery, Marshall, Bennett and Forte are far from average. I'm not so sure about that offensive line claim either. McCown absorbed 11 sacks in 5 starts while Cutler took 19 sacks in 11 starts.

Big year coming up for Glennon. Lots to absorb before the start of the regular season. He needs to be on top of every detail. Josh McCown likes cream in his coffee and make sure to always give him the red Gatorade when he asks for a drink. Hold the clipboard tight and keep good posture.
Josh McCown? Puke. That is Josh freakin' McCown you're talking about. You got a hard on for Trestman and his offensive scheme, not McCown. Don't be fooled.
No. Its McCown. 13 TD and 1 INT dont just happen by accident. McCown was a serious baller last year and IF it was true that it was simply the system, dont you think Jay Cutler would have been equally impressive? He wasnt. I watched every Bears game and McCown consistently destroyed defenses. McCown was the no.1 QB in the entire NFL at Total QBR. That doesnt happen by fluke. And if you have followed McCowns career you wiuld know that he has always been a solid QB. He would be perfect here as a stop gap until we find a franchise QB.
Agreed 13:1 doesn't just happen. 25:6 doesn't just happen either ???
It's common knowledge that in order to play high level NFL football you must first look the part. Mike Glennon was recently overheard saying "these unis are freaking sick" I'll be throwing so many TD passes wearing that. Mike was also overheard saying he'd probably have like an 8.5 ypa average or higher, easily. Personally I think Mike is going to look legit in this uniform and can't wait to see him jog out onto the field, leading our Buccaneers to a championship. What say you scurvy dogs?
No reference, no named source, no link, nothing but half-assed quote. What? Do you just make this **CENSORED** up as you go?
Dude.....what do you think?
