With Martin missing games early in the season we're looking at a rookie 5th rounder and little Jaquiz carrying the load for 3 weeks. This is a serious run for us so every game counts.
The FA running back pool is just about completely drained, it may just be best rolling with our guys any not even bringing any one in but I think guys worth a look are below:
Legarrette Blount - if the offensive air game is working like it should, then Blount can be an unstoppable weapon some games, weve seen it here in 2010, and it was also on display at times last year. Hes still capable of helping teams. Things with Blount is he doesnt help your offense get going, but if you offense rolling hot he turns into a beast. Im fine with bringing him back for a year.
Jamaal Charles - We're talking 3 - 4 games, this is perfect for Charles, thats pretty much whats hes good for. I know hes in talks already with another team tho.
Matt Asiata - best runner on the worst run blocking Oline in football past couple of years, I would actually sign this guy for a couple years as our short yardage back, he can catch too.
and thats about it... its pretty dry out there.
