If the Rams play next week, like they are today....we are gonna get crushed.
Rams are sub 500 because they don't play this way every week.
Benchwarmer#1: "Caradoc is right. Hate to admit it, but he is."You "hate to admit" it? Have you not noticed that you're standing in twelve feet of bullsiht?
Notice how many times Kap was in trouble, but managed to do JUST enough with his legs so that a receive was able to get open?Thats Manziel, just not as good.Just sayin.

Johnny football will turn into Johnny turnover in the NFL.
You're right. Pinpoint accuracy and dynamic scrambling ability cause nothin but problems!

Those are great traits, Johnny don't have NFL versions of either one of those. Give it up.

Draft him then what? Watch him run around for his life hoping a receiver can get open? We have a lot of needs and need a lot of changes. Not sure QB is the biggest change needed.
Blake Bortles. The End.

What round?
I think he looks great at times and awful at times, but the ratio leans heavily towards awful. However, the play calling and coaching in general is so incredibly awful that it makes it really hard to know he sucks for sure. I'm not a fan of him being our starter moving forward, but I can't say with 100% confidence that he wouldn't be better with a real coaching staff.
I can. We have horrible coaching right now. Every player on the team will look better with real coaching.
+1
It's a bit of both really. Bad play calling with dropped passes one series. The next series Glennon holds the ball to long and misses an open receiver and the 3rd series he's pulling trigger throwing darts into tight areas. The inconsistency tells me coaching is bad, general gameplanning is bad and Glennon is a rookie who is unsure of what he is seeing so far. I do think Schiano stays but we need a new OC badly.
You guys can name all the QBs you want, but none of them will succeed in the situation we have. For crying out loud we had Rainey trying to block Aldon Smith without so much as a chip from the tackle. Which one of those QBs can outrun Smith coming clean? Who are they gonna throw it to? VJax triple covered or one of the other guys that can't beat a single?
Plays very well in a quicker-paced offense with lots of precision short passes. If these were mixed with our run game, he would have far greater success. As it is in Sullivan's thump-and-chunk offense, when the run game isn't working, he is obviously not nearly mobile enough. Kaepernick, OTOH, is amazing...

Let's not say Sullivan....this is what Rutgers wants. Run, run play action deep. Anyone he hires is going to basically bring this same approach to the game - and more than likely it is his old buddy on the staff McNulty that takes over at OC. A man steeped in the ways of the Rutgers.

I'm not sure I would call Kap amazing. IMO he is your run-of-the-mill running QB. The only thing you have to do to beat them is to contain them and make them beat you with their arm and head. We just fukked up on the contain.
I don't care for Kap, but his has abilities that are very beneficial to a team that focused on winning - it does require a coach with the ability to use those abilities...
