I read a quote from Gannon on PFT, here is what he said about Gruden."“I know that he still has the desire to get back and do it at some point,” Gannon said.  “I don’t know when.  I don’t know where.  But I know this, that he had two bad experiences as a head coach with some owners that he just had a tough time with.  And you know I think it’s pretty clear that he didn’t necessarily see eye to eye with Mr. Davis . . . . and I think he wants to go somewhere where he’s got an owner that’s not gonna, you know, try and pick the roster and try and call the plays, and just a guy that he can just come in and work for and hire a staff and get the thing turned around.”I get that he is referring to Al Davis, but is he also referring the Glazers?

Probably.  He was fired because of the Glazers brilliant "build through the draft plan".  4 out of 5 losing seasons later ..........

Gruden had a problem with Rich Mckay while in Tampa. He didn't want to be the GM but he wanted a GM that would do what he wanted and make it work with the cap. So he pushed Mckay out and brought in his boy BA. Who was great with the cap but not so great with personnel.  The Glazer's planned to keep Gruden but wanted to change their approach from a veteran laden win now approach to a long-term build threw the draft approach. When they realized Gruden wasn't on board for that approach they made a late change. Gruden's failure to find and develop a QB cost him any shot at having a lasting legacy.  There is no reason to believe he will be any different when given another opportunity. Pass

I'd like to see Gruden in Dallas.  The facial expressions he'd make when Romo throws another late-game pick would be comical.

Dallas? That's a marriage made in hell. Jerry was the same guy who gave Tom Landry, one of the best minds in NFL history the bums rush. In addition he ran Jimmy Johnson, one of the best head coaches in the modern era.  Guy knew talent like no other but Jones made him miserable anyway.I cant see Gruden and Jerry together in a room for an hour.
